The Trulli del Bosco can be reached by plane, train and automobile. The nearest airports are Bari and Brindisi (served daily by many airlines including budget flights). Upon request its possible to arrange transport to and from the airports of Bari and Brindisi for a supplement of 50 euro for each journey (from Bari its 56 km and from Brindisi is 51 km and the time each trips takes is approximately 1 hr). At the Bari airport there is a car rental service.


To get to Alberobello by car from the Bari airport follow the signs for Bari and then take the SS16 Tangenziale and the Strada Provinciale di Cassano (SP236). Then take the A14 autostrada in the direction of Taranto and Pescara for 33 km. Take the exit (SS171) to Gioia del Colle (30 km from Alberobello which is around 1/2 hr journey). Then follow the road signs to Putignano and then Alberobello. 

For national and international train service you should refer to Bari as the closest main station. From Bari there is a continuous local service from the 'Ferrovie Sud Est' which travels from Bari to Alberobello. From the Alberobello station a taxi to the Trulli del Bosco can be hired for around 5 euro journey. 

The nearest seaside is Monopoli which is around 20 km distance, 15 minutes away by car. Cliffs, rock pools, beaches and a wonderful clean sea.

On request a guide can be arranged to tour Alberobello and the local area: the white city of Locorotondo, Ostuni. Visit the baroque chalkstone of Martina Franca. Visit Mottola and Matera, the medieval cities carved from the rocks. Take a guided excursion by bike in the trulli countryside. Guided tours on foot or by bicycle through the water courses in the woods following the Pugliese acquaducts, the largest in Europe.

The visit should be planned at least two days in advance. The costs are in accordance with the itinerary, the time and how many people take part.
